Chocolate Teapot Award: Dolce & Gabbana’s tulle skirt

Worst case of VPL EVER

Worst case of VPL EVER

OK, we’ve given this item much more thought than it actually deserves, and we can’t think of a single scenario in which we’d willingly pay £160 for something to completely and utterly useless. Can you? If you can, hand over your hard-earned cash to Yoox.com.

Perhaps there are places that only let people in if they’re wearing a skirt or trousers. So if you’re like a certain someone whose name I won’t mention this would be the perfect solution…

items like this are win-win for designers
they get to use up scrap bits from other outfits thus reducing their fabric bottom line
they get to rest their brains a little when designing something so basic after some of the crazy runway stuff (not that this thing isn’t crazy…just in a different way lol)
they get to reap the monetary benefits of people with more money than brains
they get to mock said people in paparazzi photos

actually if worn under a shorter pencil skirt or dress it could be sexy in the layerd manner ala Carrie, but on its own its just a criminal record waiting to happen. My conclusion is if it was a tenner from H&M maybe but for that much it better have sex with me at the end of the night
