omg these are cute! but not at $470 LOL. i have bebe cateye looking frames ($100 or so ?) and i love that i dont look like everyone else!
its my first time to join the discussion and so far i agree with everything youve posted so far! Thank God! I met this designer who worships Margiela, Helmut Lang & CDG clothes but sometimes i dont get the stuff they put out. The REAL fashion police totally need to sharpen their critical eye so these designers dont falter.

they look like the glasses my mom had in the 60s and 70s…makes me feel nostalgic for being a little kid and looking at pictures of her as a young 20 something

Fantastic! The retro twist makes them look classy, and anyways I was sick of the bug-eye sunglasses *before* they’d been big for more than a few years. Especially on people with small faces.

My mum and I were going through my grandmother’s stuff the other day (she passed away a few years ago) and we found a pair of sunglasses almost exactly like this which would date from around the 40′s or 50′s – I immediately snapped them up and I love them, but the reactions I get vary!
