Er, no we’re not. We’re asking people what they think of it, and saying that we wouldn’t wear it ourselves. That’s actually quite different from saying that it’s fine to go jogging in heels.

This conjures a most unusual dichotomy. Sweatpants – sporty diva! High heels- sexy diva! However, this makes as much sense as mini skirts with sheepskin boots. By showing an image like this, you’re saying that it’s perfectly fine to go jogging in high heel pumps. I can’t even begin to imagine how many ladies would be in such discomfort from wearing high heels and trying to run in them.

Rather than high heels with active pants, there are a number of proper athletic shoes and athletic-inspired shoes that are better to go with athletic-type pants and other athletic-bottoms than high-heels. This combination of sweatpants with high-heels (especially in that picture) is just a total mismatch. Something like that is what you’d probably find in advertisements and beauty shots and never made to evoke any kind of trend or fashion craze. And again- this makes as much sense as wearing mini skirts with sheepskin boots, especially on cold/cool days.

I think its preety cool too, but i dont think i’ll be hitting the streets like that till everyone thinks of it as normal.

I vomited in my mouth a little when I saw that picture. I think I would require many millions of pounds to be seen like that in public, and even so would sneak a pair of back-up-trousers in my bag.

If you want to pull this look off…there are a few things you’ll need to add…

1) Don’t forget the suntan nylons!
2) Put your hair in curlers, and cover it w/a rain bonnet, and…
3) Walk around with a cigarette dangling out of the edge of your mouth!

I’ve actually seen an old lady dressed like that before! Hilarious!

I adore it. It’s more than two years that I spend my weekends and dress for my trips in sweat pants and high heel boots. I don’t know about Pumps, but I will try it.

I would rock this look.. I thought about it then I saw Ciara wearing it.. Its not about what others think its about personality & will to be different. I wouldnt say I would put those exact sweats with those particular shoes.. but Sweats and Pumps are actually kind of hawt.. Not everyone could pull it off though

EricB makes a good point. What would you prefer: The sweats or the genie’s pants? Sweat pants with heels could be okay if your… I don’t know. Going to a formal at the gym.
