Green dress by Gai Mattiolo Couture: enough ruffles for ya?
Well, it’s certainly starting to feel a lot like Christmas, isn’t it?
For instance, here’s one of the decorations! Well, it looks like one, anyway. We can’t quite make our minds up about this dress, though. It feels like it COULD be stunning… if it had just a few less ruffles. Or, OK, maybe a LOT less ruffles. We can’t help feeling that a head poking out of that neckline would end up looking like some kind of grown-up Cabbage Patch Kid, although perhaps the black version would be a little better in that respect.
What do you think, readers? Crime of Fashion?

Fairly straightforward: if it looks like it belongs on a Christmas tree it shouldn’t be clothing!

Also, if it looks like it IS a Christmas Tree, it shouldn’t be clothing.
That would pretty much look bad on anyone who had a cup size so… yeah, crime of fashion I would say. Also the shade of green is kind of awful. Also: what happened to full-length skirts for winter? Global warming hasn’t gotten that bad, yet.
i hate it but just curious, what does the back look like?

Fab colour!
Look toto we’ve found the emerald city!
*tries to keep a straight face* there are just NOT enough ruffles on that dress
it looks like an interpretive dance version of a palm tree…or maybe the ballet version of a tree skirt come to life in the nutcracker suite
I do love the color. Call me weird. But I’m a redhead and that color would look fabulous on me.
The ruffles . . . not so much.

Something about this says “The Little Mermaid” to me lol!
However I think the black is much prettier, although it still kind of looks like a Christmas present!
Looks Like Mutated Spinach.
I love this dress. Its absolutely gorgeous. Its style is new and unexpected.
