Faces for your feet: Dolce & Gabana’s suede wedge “face” shoes

dolce-gabana-face-shoes

Feet just shouldn’t have faces. They have no need of them. Or not as far as we were concerned, anyway. It looks like Dolce & Gabbana disagree, though, because if you wear these suede wedges, you won’t just be two-faced, you’ll be three-faced. You’ll also be kept awake at night by the thought of those creepy faces sitting inside your closet, making the shoes look almost like they’re alive. Alive and about to EAT you. Or maybe that’s just us.

We do like our shoes to have a bit of personality, but these have taken it too far for us, , although we confess that we would be interested to see what they actually look like like on a foot. What do you think of them? If it’s love at first look, and you can’t wait to have them in your life, they’re £709 and you can buy them here.

They remind me of the art from ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’ particularly ‘The Origin of Love’ sequence.
    Therefore… I quite like them.

I like them too! Don’t look scary to me, but I do know some people who’d be hidden under the bed if they had these shoes anywhere around :)
I personaly believe that they’re not wearable because of their hight,so it’s something called shoe-art… If we don’t mind faces on t-shirts, why not put them on the shoes too?

  2. tanya says:

btw, these shoes realy do look like cut from that cartoon scene from “Hedwig” :)

  3. xony says:

Yes! They do look like the animation from “The Origin of Love”!!!
And the same weird part of me that loves Hedwig, is quite curious about this shoes! ._.

my first thought was if lady gaga wore them she could branch out and have a b-side single about her pa pa pa poker feet

  5. Leigh says:

If the shoes weren’t so huge, clunky, and hoof-like, I think I’d actually like the faces. At least, I’d like them until I started to feel stared at and creeped out.

i quite like them in a weird sort of way…i know i shouldn’t, but i just can’t help it. The lips aren’t doing it for me I must admit but I think I could just about deal with that eyeball peering up at me from my tootsies! x

  8. inga says:
