Under Fashion Police Arrest: Denim joggers from Topshop
Denim joggers. De-nim jog-gers. Denim. Joggers.
No, it’s no use: no matter how you say it, it’s still appalling.
On a more positive note, it was heartening to find out that most of you are firmly against the “Wear sweatpants with heels! It’ll be totes stylish!” diktat handed down by UK Vogue this month. It gives us hope that no one will actually think denim joggers are a good idea either, with or without heels.
Can we rely on your support on this one, readers?
I just have to say…why?
Since when does one jog in denim pants unless being chased down a street or running for a bus/train?

No pants should have elastic around the bottoms, unless they are flowy poofy harem pants, and I mean the period kind, not the modern kind.
they are very eighties But I must say i do like them.
I would so wear these with a cropped tee and a colourfull jacket and sneakers.

I totally agree. With a pair of doc martins, a vintage cardigan and tee-shirt these could look high fashion to say the least. Go down to brick lane you’ll see people wearing jeans exactly like this.

I think these are even worse than the jeggings. Some of the talented folk who frequent this site managed to make the jeggings wearable in the last style challenge, after all. I cannot imagine an outfit these wouldn’t ruin.

Topshop, why do you have to make Vince Noir cry? That’s pretty low, Topshop. I think you need to apologise.
I just slagged that one off on my blog. I don’t understand what Topshop has been up to over the last few months. These pants are not just a one off. Their webiste is full of potential fashion crime items. Makes me cringe!
