Tartan Terrors: Irregular Choice’s plaid flats

irregular choice mary piper Tartan Terrors: Irregular Choices plaid flatsTartan’s big this winter. What do you mean, AGAIN?

This kind of tartan, though? This kind is only big in the Fashion Police jail. And, of course, at certain Irregular Choice outlets. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

  1. They are pretty bad, they look like they’d make your feet look like big (tartan-covered) banana feet. I like the way the straps cross over, though. I think that could look nice on a shoe with a heel, a shoe not covered in purple tartan!

  2. Pointy shoes that curl up at the tip are always ugly. Sometimes they might look good by themselves, but try them on and you’ll see just how much they make you look like an elf.

  3. These must be for Halloween, surely?

They look like they belong on a Harlequin! Awful. I’d rather chop off my feet than let these monstrosities near them. I feel itchy just having them on the screen.

  4. Perhaps the tartan breaks up the ugly shape of the shoe, a bit like the way zebra stripes break up the outline of the zebra. (Not that I’m suggesting zebras are ugly!)

  5. I think I found the perfect shoes for my new “uglies outfit ever” look on polivore.
no; seriously now, the whole world has gone completely insane right?
why do people insist to wear stuff that would make a manequin look fat and their feet to appear 5 sizes bigger? why?

  6. The boyfriend just looked over and said, “I’ve seen those before. Weren’t they on a witch?”

They’re called pumps. Pumps are specifically shoes without fastenings, and I can quite clearly see a button on those.

It also amuses me how the product details just cuts off in the middle of a word, and there are no items in the “May we suggest” section.

If this were a wear or die, I’m not sure I’d survive.
