thigh high boots Style Challenge: What to Wear With Thigh High Boots?As we’re sure most of you know, thigh high boots are currently enjoying a turn in the fashion spotlight: they’re being touted as THE boots for this winter, but let’s face it, they’re not exactly the easiest boots to wear, and all too often, they can end up making you look like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

For this week’s Style Challenge, then, we want you to use Polyvore to create an outfit to wear with the thigh-high boots above, which are by Stella McCartney. Before you do, though, please take a moment to read the rules of the game, which you’ll find below…

    Yes – my set does include leggings, the reason being I like the shress but wouldn’t expect someone to wear it without anything but their underwear!

  15. It’s a matter of style. Julia Roberts would have looked like a whore even is maryjanes. It’s her total lack of style that dooms her. Same goes for any other girl. If you have style, you can wear this kind of boots. Otherwise, forget about it!

    I tried to tone down the boots instead of playing them up. So, I paired them with something more of a day look. Still not sure if it works or not.
