It's been a while since we last watched two celebrities slug it out in a round of Star Style Wars, so today we've put Angelina Jolie and Diane Kruger into the ring in a bid to find out who was the best dressed at the Inglorious Basterds L.A. premiere this week.
Both women wore black to the event, but they went for very different styles, with Angelina in black leather Michael Kors number, while Diane chose Atelier Versace, and lots and lots of texture.

Diane won.
Although I liked the fact that Angelina changed from her usual black frock to a more modern style with the leather.
I really can’t choose, don’t think either of them look that great. Angelina looks far too thin and the dress looks like a binbag, haven’t we seen her in a similar dress before? Diane looks like a sea amoeba, although I like the back of this dress.
I’d say Angelina.
I vote for Kruger. The dress is interesting, her makeup is good and the shoes are cute. Jolie is a stringy-haired mess.
Angelina. The dress has more shape, even though I think it’s a bit too long. The other girl kind of looks like a depressed Big Bird.
If anyone’s seen “Spirited Away”, I think Kruger’s dress makes her look like a soot sprite

Angelina…she looks comfortable & charismatic, whereas Diane looks like she’s trying a little too hard to be noticed (which she doesn’t need to; she’s gorgeous).
Angelina, simply because it’s nice to see a photo she’s actually smiling in.
personally, I’m not thrilled by either dress. If this is all you have for best dressed, i don’t even want to know what some other people wore. If i have to choose, though, Angelina looks a whole lot better in a trash bag than Diane looks after being tarred and feathered.
Wow! I barely recognized Angelina Jolie! She’s actually wearing clothes that flatter her figure.
So she wins.
I don’t really care for either dress.
Kruger’s is jut a bit to floofy for my liking, kind of like a kid’s stuffed toy.
Jolie’s, while a flattering cut, doesn’t seem to fit very well, and does it actually have pockets?

Angelina wins by default, because have you _seen_ the back of Diane’s dress? I’m not opposed to low backs on dresses in principle, but it just doesn’t work at all on this one. I’m not too sure how I feel about the dress’ silhouette, either.
On the other hand, Angelina doesn’t look like she’s really trying. She probably had this dress in the back of her closet and said, “Oh, what the hell.”
I’d say Angelina; she rocks the dress. Diane’s dress is definetely something to look at with all the fluffyness. It seems more appropriate for the winter than a late summer style.
Angelina wins this match by me. Diane is usually fabulous, but that dress looks like she killed a bunch of sea urchins and glued them to a dead Muppet.
Normally like AJ’s understated and ultra simple looks but this time she’s looking…less groomed than her usual standard. As for the dress, she must have worn a zillion others the same exact shape. Hate to say it but it’s boring for such as occasion as this.
Diane on the other hand completely carries off this unusual dress with exquisite accessories. Just the kind of thing to wear where all eyes are on you ….and you want to keep them there….Just one teeny tiny thing I would change and that is to style her hair a touch sleeker and smoother to offset the texture of the dress like her clutch and shoes.

Diane. A black leather cocktail-type dress? Weird. Plus, I feel like I’ve seen this look on her a bazillion times.
I vote Diane.
But I just love Angelina’s shoes.
i, personally, think that, though both lasies look stunning, that ANGELINA is one step ahead in the fashion race. she looks amazing, as always!
