This is actually Viktor & Rolf’s second foray into the world of Boots-Pretending-to-be-Shoes, and some of you thought their first attemptwasn’t half bad, actually. Will these Footwear Impostors also win your hearts, though, or is this just a shoe too far? And what’s that gold thing on the heel, anyway? Did the Impostors step in something on their way to the Fashion Police holding cells?

It just looks like a pair of pumps with baggy stockings. Not a good look, imo.
I’m having a hard time figuring out what you could wear that would look good with these.
Oh, and the gold bits are bow accents. I can only imagine that people who think boots that look like shoes and knee-high leather socks are a good idea are the only ones that would put little gold bows partway down the heels.

Ah, so they are! And yes, I think you’re right – if you’d wear impostor shoes, you’d probably wear gold bows on the heels too. Now that I know what they are, I dislike them even more.
Maybe if I can’t find my tights and I wear something long enough to cover the boots I’d wear them. NOT!
