I neither love it nor hate it. As other commentators have astutely observed, you’d need just the right shape to pull it off. I find the shiny fabric to be a little too much with the bright color, and the length is a little awkward.

Hmmm .. I quite like the neckline, the chiffon (and the rose) and if I picture it in black (and the bottom panel was less shiny) I think it could be lovely.
I think the shiny purple-iness detracts from what is actually quite a nice design.
