Subway Map Print dress by Francis means you’ll never be lost in New York again

Subway-print-dress

Planning a trip to New York city? Worried you might get just a little bit lost? Worry no more, readers, just slip on the Subway Map Dress by Francis, and you'll have a map of the entire New York subway with you at all times! (If you're going somewhere that happens to be printed on the rear of the dress, though, well, good luck with that…)

What's weird about this one is that we're not even describing it as a crime of fashion. Would you?

BUY: Subway print dress, $186

    That’s kinda neat, actually.

  2. Miranda says:

I think it’s cute. It helps that it’s an attractive dress — good cut, good length, looks good on the model. If I were her size and had $186 to spend on a sundress, I’d buy it.

  3. Delaney says:

I really like the print, actually, but I think the cut is horrid! I hate the new trend of bumped-out midsections on dresses. I understand that it can help hide a bit of a tummy, but it’s pretty bad when it makes the model look like she’s expecting.
Also, it’s reeeeally short. I’d be terrified of bending over in that dress. I’m not a prude, but I find I seem increasingly modest in comparison with the rest of the world.

  4. Sarah says:

I also actually love the print. It’s slightly whimsical without going over the top. But I agree with Delaney — the cut could be *so* much better.

  6. Emily says:

I like it. A bit too short for my tastes, but I wouldn’t call it a crime.

  7. Steph says:

I actually rather love it. And I am gutted that it is only available in a size 12; why must you tease me with an interesting and unusual sundress? xx

  8. JJ says:

    cute – interesting idea

  9. JC says:

I’m surprised to say..I kindaa love it! Maybe thats just because from far away it lookes like a pattern rather than a map? Who knowss

  10. Nikki G says:

I like it a lot. I think it is a very cute dress.

  11. Andara says:

As awful as the concept sounds on paper, it actually looks really cute.
Although I, too, heartily dislike empire waists (not a new trend, just back again).
    ^-.-^

  12. Meredith says:

I like it. It’s a very cool, graphic print. I think someone should make an affordable bag or T like that that I can buy. :)

  13. enc says:

It’s a superb dress, and I’m not at all surprised at it’s popularity.

  14. TheShoeGirl says:

I LOVE this dress actually. And WendyB rocks it pretty dang well!

  15. Sher says:

Just love this unique dress! So dull and boring seeing the same fashion prints all the time. Francis puts character into his clothes! Love it!

  16. Miranda says:

p.s. I would totally buy that fabric if I saw it for sale. :-)

  17. Nahla says:

I actually rather like it. If it were a little longer and more flattering in the mid-section, I would buy. It’s always nice to have somethng a little quirky for the summer.

  18. mary says:

    i LOVE it!
i’d wear it with a black jacket though, probably.
