Style on Trial: “Wooden leg” pants by Michael Kors
And the must-have fashion item for this season is… a pair of wooden legs! And by "wooden legs" we mean "legs that look like tree trunks"? Or maybe not. These wood print pants are by Michael Kors, but given that "tree trunk legs" aren't exactly something many of us aspire to having. we're wondering how much of a hit these will really be. Especially considering they cost $995.

Because so so often I’ve thought to myself, I wish someone would make a pair of wooden effect trousers. Now that they’re here I am completely delighted.

The crotch is in its rightful place, so these aren’t particularly offensive. I’d wear them if I were a carpenter…

That said, they aren’t the worst things I’ve ever seen, but I wouldn’t wear them.

The look is way too trendy for the cost. the idea is interesting if it were made of a different material…maybe somewhat sheer to be a kind of summer beach pant
Well, they’re nicely shaped, and I like the rich tone of the color, but the woodgrain print just doesn’t do anything special for me. I will gaze, but not buy.

i think they are very unfortunate. Pinocchio is the only one who can pull off wooden legs in my opinion
I have a skirt with a lighter colour wood grain print but I hate these.
