Spotted! Helena Bonham Carter carrying a fairytale castle handbag at the Harry Potter premiere
No one could accuse Helena Bonham Carter of not having her own sense of style, and she's probably one of the few people who could actually get away with carrying a handbag which, in someone else's hands, would look like something picked up at a Disney souvenir shop. Not that Helena would care, even if it was, of course: but what do you think of this little fairytale bag?

She may be a little nuts, but you’ve gotta admit she walks to her own tune in a very cool way.
In my recent trip to Disneyland, I bought two little purse/clutches – one in the shape of the Rose from B&tB and one in the shape of Cinderella’s carriage to the ball. Covered in sequins of course!
I reckon we could all take a leaf out of HBC’s book and have a bit of fun with our look – wear clothing you like, like nobody’s looking
I’m with Erin, and I’d think any stylist worth his or her salt would agree…if you’re the type of person who takes delight in sequin-covered carriage handbags (I know I am!) then by all means, use it! We’ve only got one life to live,(an assumption, of course) so let’s live it! As for the bag, I’d love to see what Chanel would produce, after seeing their russian doll.
I guess it’s supposed to be Hogwarts… i’d wear it!

In general I would say that a fairytale castle isn’t appropriate for the red carpet, BUT this is the Harry Potter Premiere, which makes this just beyond perfect. I think everyone there should have something cute like this

I think its cute! I’d carry a castle bag. Why do we have to be so grown up all the time?
I wouldn`t wear one but since HBC is a known eccentric, she can pretty much wear everything she wants and get away with it.
I respect HBC’s individuality .. but I honestly hate her kooky bag-woman sense of style.
With all the money and resources she has at her fingertips (think of the freebies people!), I find her choices kinda … kooky bag-woman. Really.
I LOVE her castle bag because I have got one too!! It’s by the fab handbag designer Lulu Guinness. Who wants to be a grown up anyway!!

My mum has this bag lol I personally wouldn’t use it or go out with it. Is pretty quirky though.
