I agree with the idea of sheer pants to demonstrate how they fit on the model though. A bit like the clear demonstrator fountain pens.

Scarlett had a good idea making a garment out of curtains, but hers were VELVET curtains. As in OPAQUE. Take note, Miuccia. Opaque curtains, not hotel sheers, do a garment make.

From Madelaines comment, maybe this is a route to take? A sheer version of trousers, so you can see the fit, before you buy them online,and discover, they’re totally different from the picture on your computer?
It’s really the only reason for sheer trousers I can think of!

This really is a shame that they are sheer, because the shape really IS nice. That cut and a solid (non-sheer) color would actually make me buy them at that price.

I’m going to start screaming. If at least ONCE they could style the things to justify their sheerness, I could at least tolerate their existence, but come on, a navy blue t-shirt is the best they could do? I mean, even Lady Gaga doesn’t wear these things! And Prada?!? Gah.
