Amy Winehouse is in court this week (again), answering charges of assault over claims she hit a fan at the End Of Summer Ball in Berkley Square last year.

Still, on the plus side, that is an AWESOME suit she's wearing, isn't it? It's from Vivienne Westwood's Anglomania label, and we've had our beady eyes on the jacket for quite some time, which just goes to show that you can be in trouble with the law without necessarily incurring the wrath of The Fashion Police. And that even Amy Winehouse can scrub up good when she needs to.

At various points in The Fashion Police's history, we've shown you pictures of items similar to these, and you've posited lots of theories, and, indeed, excuses, for their existence.

But we still think they look like the kind of surgical garment you'd be given to wear if you strained something in your leg.

Handbag of the Week: Jil Sander patent belted shopper

This bag was awarded Handbag of the Week mostly by virtue of its colour. Although we're not generally big pink wearers, we are partial to the odd dusky pink, and this is just gorgeous. It's a colour that would work well for both summer and winter, and the structured shape and casual belt mean it'd work for most occasions, too. It's also on sale, although given the name on the label, don't expect that to mean that it's "cheap".

Lady Gaga confesses to Kermit-killing. Bail denied.

We've had so many emails about this one now we figured we had to show you it. Yes, it's true: Lady Gaga killed Kermit. She's possibly the only person who'd wear the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac jacket we wrote about earlier this year, and somehow when we saw this picture, we weren't surprised.

She looks mighty pleased with herself too, the shameless Kermie Killer.
