Because we were so amazed to find a dress we liked at Modcloth that wasn't sold out, we just had to make it Dress of the Day.

Great dress, Anna Friel, but weren't you afraid to bend over?
Anna looks as lovely as ever in this low-cut Antonio Berardi dress at the Cartier International Polo Day this weekend, although this isn't the kind of dress we can imagine ever feeling really comfortable in – looks like the girls are about to make a bid for escape any second. Still, we'd imagine Anna had plenty of Hollywood tape in her handbag, because there were no wardrobe malfunctions to report. What do you think of her look?

Today, readers, we present the proof – if it was needed – that all pants are not created equal, and that yes, you CAN make a pair of leather pants look every bit as sexy as "mom" jeans. All you need is a tapered leg, a huge, elasticated waistband, and a strange flap detail on the front. So now you know.

These "shirts" are similar only in terms of the colour (and even that isn't identical), but as we looked at the Next shirt, we thought it had a bit of a "Vivienne Westwood" feel about it, and then when we tracked down an ACTUAL red and white stripe shirt by Vivienne Westwood… we actually liked the Next version better.
And the world stood still, the sun started to revolve around it, and pigs took to the sky on wings of gold. THAT'S how surprised we were to discover that we liked something by NEXT better than something by The Good Dame Viv.
What about you, though, readers? Assuming you were in the market for a red and white stripey shirt, would you rather save or splurge?
