Camper shoes Frankenshoes: Campers cloth ballet flats

Could someone please pass the eyeball bleach?

Now, we realise Camper shoes aren't particularly designed to be high fashion items, but is there any reason they have to be so ugly? Or, indeed, to look like part of a child's craft project? We can't think of a single reason, and we're inclined to agree with Shoe Asylum, who brought these to our attention, that we may finally have found a shoe that's even uglier than Crocs.

The new Public Enemy No. 1 of the shoe world? If you don't think so, and you'd actually like the buy them, they're £30 from Yoox. Or, if you're handy with the old needles, you could probably knit your own.

  1. They’re ugly, but I still think the croc is worse. Especially since they came out with those decorations for them.

  2. Camper is a great brand. They make really creative and unusual shoes. This ones are not really nice to look at, but they are fun.
    Crocs are disgusting. Period.

  3. Ugh, looks like someone was trying desperately to think of what to do with the last bits of an old wicker chair.

  4. I actually really like Campers. Granted some of their stuff is quirky, but it’s well made and their more classically styled shoes are great basics. Especially their boots. I wore mine constantly for years a nd nearly cried when they finally had to be retired.
