Style on Trial: Skeleton jewellery by Fendi

Haute-macabre-delfina-delettrez-fendi

No, you didn't fall asleep and sleep right through to Halloween, these are from the new line from Delfina Delettrez Fendi – and, needless to say, we want to know what you think of it. We'd normally find skeleton hands just a little bit creepy, but in this case we think they may actually be a little bit cool, too, and we just can't decide which side wins.

So, what do you think, readers: creepy or cool?

Both. I love creepy chic. These are probably outrageously expensive, but I love that they’re funny without being a joke. The ring on the ring finger is adorable and I mean, it’s not like anybody’s going to mistake it for real bones. Furthermore, I’ve never seen anything like it. Very cool.

  2. marie says:

I like it ^^ Might just be a tad annoying to have on the hand moving around.

  3. puddin. says:

this is amazing , probaly really expensive , but i wouldn’t mind one.

  4. deka says:

i did a post on this also.
    it’s interesting i guess, but also $22,000!!

  5. Diandra says:

I like it! Certainly a conversation piece, ha ha.

  6. Layla says:

i love it and i’ve been wondering who it was by for ages! like everyone else has said, it’s going to be mega-expesive, but it’s really cute.

  7. Belle says:

I fine it quite pretty! Definitley a conversation starter. Bet it costs what I earn in a year though.

  8. Carissa says:

    *Shudder*
    It gives me the creeps.

  9. Theresa says:

Sorry, I think its creepy. I find absolutely nothing cute about bones.

  10. Bethany says:

Creepy. The “ring” stone just puts the cherry on top.

  11. Lyddiegal says:

Creepy. I could see it being really awesome in a costume or photo shoot type setting. Then it could be cool. But for the everyday it is absurd.

  12. Kate says:

I wonder how long it’ll be before Beyonce gets hers?
I find it interesting and cool, but obviously won’t be owning one any time soon!

  13. Romanticide says:

I actually like… I guess this how will I notice the really rich people from the rest n metal concerts…

  14. Erin says:

I like this, actually. I think it’s executed well enough to not seem cheap and Halloween, and it’d definitely make the wearer stand out in a crowd.

  15. Sarah says:

I love “creepy chic,” to be honest. If I had an unlimited amount of money, I would really want this.

  16. Melanie says:

    Cooooool :)
I love creepy chic as long as it avoids going into halloween costume territory. This one does.
The goths around my local area would go beserk over it.

  17. Amber says:

Very awesomely goth. I would’ve snapped it up back in high school (presuming it wasn’t ridiculously priced). It would be the perfect addition to the Halloween costume I plan on wearing this year.

  18. lori says:

Creepy, weird, and ugly. (I blame you, “Sasha Fierce.”)

  19. molly says:

    That is so cool looking!!!

  20. Ash says:

If I slam a car door too hard that thing is going to hit the back of my hand so hard I’m going to want to break it.

  21. spikesnsilk says:

    I… um, actually, uh… I want one… now.
