Spotted: Emma Watson wears Rodarte to Harvey Nichols party

Little Hermione Granger is definitely all grown up…. Here's the adorable Emma Watson attending a private party at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor restaurant in London last night, wearing a Rodarte dress with a rather daring mesh top that only just covers her nipples. It’s not her style… she usually goes for classier-looking garments than this one. Besides, is it just me or does she still look about 14?
I think it’s a trashy dress. Something Sharon Stone would wear, not Emma Watson. Please Emma – stick with your normally demure style!
I’m pretty sure the front part is actually lined… you can see the change in colour at the seam down the side. That said, it’s still horrific. Way too much going on.

Huh…I think if anyone else wore this, someone not normally so demure, there wouldn’t be so much stir over this dress.
That being said, I’m not sure how I feel about it. I like the bottom half of the dress, but like others have said, the top seems too hectic.

Is it me or does the front bit look like nude fabric on the front – not the “ribbons covering her nipples” I think its a fabric front made to look like it is nude. Maybe not. I might be wrong

well its definitely trampier than we usually see her. It honestly looks like she went dumpster diving for fabric, sewed it all together, then got mauled, and is waiting for her fairy godmother to make her pretty again for the ball….

I actually like the dress – it’s very creative, I love the different layers and textures.
But it doesn’t suit her, AT ALL. It looks like something Siouxsie Sioux would wear, not a demure girl-next-door like Emma Watson. She looks like she’s playing dress up. And the white shoes look silly with it.
Maybe she was trying for something sexier to mix up her good-girl image? Can’t blame her for trying! I think on someone with a more sexed up rep for her age it’d be ok but on her it just doesn’t seem to suit her persona.
She could basically wear anything, she’s adorable! But that doesn’t mean she has to attempt wearing everything, of course. So of course, Emma gets a double thumbs-up, but the this dress gets a double no-no.
Someone actually is wearing that dress? I saw it in the photage from the show and thought all of it was totally unwearable – apparently not.
Its a very bizarre choice for her..not something i would of expected at all!
