Paparazzi Babette Magazine Clutch Bag – another bag masquerading as reading material

Magazine-clutch-bags

Magazines masquerading as clutch bags aren't exactly a new idea, but we think this bag by Paparazzi is one of the more affordable versions of the look (as opposed to just making your own out of an old magazine, obviously), coming in at £45.

Unlike most other impostor items, we don't find these to be a fashion crime – in fact, we think they could actually look quite cute with the right outfit and attitude. What do you think of them, though? Would you pay good money to look like you're carrying a rolled-up magazine? If the answer to that is "yes, where do I sign up?" you can buy these at ASOS.com.

I’m not really big on clutch bags. So they really have to be great, not just sorta of cute, before I consider them.

As much as I am against tacky accessories, this is pretty intriguing. I like it and would even buy it once they start making “Made in China” knock offs of it.

A future DIY project in my eyes.
