LFI_GUINNESS10[1]

When you're a fashion designer attending a party to celebrate your label's 20th anniversary, we guess you're allowed to wear an outfit that makes your body look like a giant purple face if you want to.

Happy 20th anniversary, Lulu Guinness!

Well, I guess one could .. but the question is why would you want to?
I actually wouldn’t mind the dress without the eyes and lips clutch. Not in “dress of the day” league, but it wouldn’t offend me either.
    Odd …

  2. SJ says:

Haha, Katie, I had EXACTLY the same thought.

  3. Victoria says:

i spy with my little eye: my next year’s halloween comstume! classy and fun and scary at the same time!

  4. nj says:

if this dress is an example of her designs i’m amazed she is able to HAVE a 20th anniversary for her label…

  5. marcie says:

This might be the weirdest thing I’ve seen in quite awhile.

  6. Squib says:

I agree with Melanie. I’d wear the dress quite happily if it wasn’t emblazoned with cartoon eyes on the front.
I like her clutch – it’s her own design isn’t it?
Always thought that Lulu Guiness should produce a makeup range. I’d be all over that 1950s-boudoir throwback stuff in a flash. She’s her own best advertisement (usually).

  7. Simone says:

I actually like this – I don’t think it’s really meant to be taken seriously. it’s fun, and shows off her sense of humour.

  8. Mary says:

love her shoes.. thats all i have to say

  9. Rock Hyrax says:

I like it, but without the bag. (You can imagine the shadow cast by the bust making a happy smile.)
