Jenny McCarthy dresses down in jeans for the premiere of The Hangover

Well, at least she wore heels, right? The Fashion Police have always believed that a good pair of Louboutins have the power to dress up almost any outfit, but Jenny McCarthy still managed to look super-casual as she walked down the red carpet with Jim Carey at the premiere of The Hangover this week in LA.

To be fair, jeans and a sweater tend to be what a lot of people wear to the movies, but do you think Jenny is a little bit too dressed down for a premiere? Do you prefer to see your celebs dressed up on the red carpet?

  1. I think that the question here is not how *dressy* her outfit is but the artistic value of it, that is, how well thought-out it is. In this case, I think she looks *nice*, but I don’t see any real effort or themes… just a bunch of nice, neutral clothing and accessories thrown together before she ran out of the house. So, I personally would give her a warning and let her go free this time!

  2. I think waist down she looks nice and casual but even just a plain white t-shirt and a nice necklace would have improved this outfit. The black sweater is so shapeless and really lets her down.
I don’t think celebs have to dress up for every movie premier, I think it depends on the calibre of the movie.

  3. Her outfit is great for a saturday hangover at home, but it seems she kept last night’s heels!
Anyways, don’t like it, mostly if your boyfriend is all dressed up.

  4. I’m not saying all celebs should dress up on the red carpet because some casual looks can still be nice, this however looks like she hit the snooze button on the alarm way too many times and only had a few minutes to throw on whatever she could find and then when remember where she was actually going thought- “hang on a minute I’ll just whack on some heels and add a clutch bag and pretend I’m going for the whole ‘casual, i’m making a statement’ look”

  5. Honestly, if she’d worn a sweater that fit properly, as well as some dark wash straight leg or skinny jeans and kept her other accessories, I’d be fine with it, but this is TOO casual.
