There was a touch of nostalgia involved in the selection of this week’s Handbag of the Week. The Chief of Police used to have a satchel a lot like this when she was a little girl, but of course, hers didn’t cost £1,475. This one does, though, because this one is by Proenza Scouler. We’re guessing the high price is justified by the fact that a bag like this, in such a classic style, will probably last you the rest of your life. We’d hope so, anyway.
