MATT & NAT has been around for 12 years and yes we had our fair share of start up problems including quality control which have been resolved. Without getting into logistics, R&D and the costs of using recycled materials...there are brands that do synthetic bags at every spectrum of pricing...including nylon bags that are well over $1,000... as far as terms as veganism and giving back go, these are not just buzz words for us, but a way of life.... I hope some questions were answered here, including the fact that we're not only available at HOLTS! If anyone has more questions, I can be found on twitter....PEACE! ouch!

I worked in a store that carried them from when they first came out until they became "high end" and wanted to be carried by holt renfrew exclusively.
