I don’t see how this skirt could possibly be unflattering unless you’re vastly obese. It would create the illusion of an hourglass figure even if you don’t have one naturally. Maybe I’ll have to buy it and try it on to find out for sure…

I think its quite pretty, right now bulk on the hips is trendy, in fact it hides saddlebags, and the picnic fabric is used well in this skirt. just my 2 cents
