Balmain’s $5,500* cotton jacket, complete with Swarovski crystals, shoulder pads and bows
The Fashion Police feel a little bit faint at the very thought of paying over $5,000 for a jacket, but if we WERE going to spend that much on a cotton jacket with huge shoulder pads and a whole lotta crystals, we think this is the one we'd probably go for.
Now, who do you think will be seen in it first: Victoria Beckham or Lady Gaga?

It reminds me of Aretha Franklin’s infamous hat. I think a 60+ yr old city-dweller with gorgeous white or grey hair would look wicked fierce in this. Personally, it looks too rigid for anyone younger.
Ha ha! I’d be wrestling my Great Aunt Peg for this beauty, fierce display of classiness that it is. “You can’t wear it, auntie,” I’d say, “it’s got motorbike chains down the front and on the cuffs, see!”
The way she wields her canes though…..she’d probably be more deserving of a Hell’s Angel inspired cardigan than I am.
I’m going to guess that Victoria Beckham will get her hands on it first. To my eye, it looks more her style – covered up and classeh as she now is. Plus, the price: unless Gaga is underwritten by the best part of MoMA’s annual budget, I don’t think she could readily afford that just yet.

thats fab but i could make something similar. get a off-white tweed jacket, customise with a huge brooch, add some chains from a habadashery store and voila!
I could see Lady Gaga rocking these with a pair of white panties, sheer white stockings, huge sunglasses, and stripper heels. And possibly a teacup.
