I'd love to strike the balance between comfy and stylish. Always feel I miss it by *this much*, though.

I’m with you on the airport style fascination (People have a little style section completely devoted to it). I'm a comfort flyer. I avoid the sweatpants, but also avoid wearing any metal. My next flight I'm going with a jersey dress, leggings, and a sweater.

I’m not into the pegged jeans look, but I like the rest of what she’s wearing.<br

I've noticed though that I dress up more on the flight out than on the flight home (although the last time, I dressed up -- in skirt, no less -- on the way home because of laundry issues) I guess normally I want to look nice when I get where I'm going.
But you know, I miss the days when people dressed up to fly. When I was a kid, dressing for a flight was something like dressing for church (which has also changed in my lifetime) Men wore suits. Women wore nice dresses.
While I like having more options and I'm in favor of being comfortable, I advocate using a little style with your comfort. I do like the way Diane handled it.

I usually try to dress both comfortably and presentably when I fly. She always strikes the right balance, never too dressy, but never scruffy. She looks comfortable, but as flawless as ever.

Personally, I love pictures of Dita at the airport. (If it were me, I'd pick different footwear, but I've never liked having anything between my toes.)

Gokarm is right, she looks adorable. Pajamas and sweats seems to be the normal outfit, and I just can't. But this is adorable, and super comfy. Way to do it, Diane!

I would absolutely dress more like Diane, which is more dressed up than a lot of people at the airport.
