Unsolved Mysteries: Mesh insert leggings

Mesh-leggings

Oh, excellent, just what we've always wanted: leggings that cover the outside of our legs, while exposing the inner thighs and crotch by means of a sheer mesh insert!

Or rather, just what we haven't always wanted. Well, have YOU? Can you imagine a scenario in which these would suddenly become acceptable wear – especially if they were worn as shown above, which we hope to God they never would be.

If you DO think these are the very things you've been looking for, they're $200 from here. No, we didn't type an extra zero into that figure by mistake…

I don’t understand these. If they were made the other way, with the solid inside, and mesh outside, they’d be more understandable, but still horrid. If all in mesh – just plain bizarre, but even made of the outer fabric completely, they’d still be vile.
I feel I’m owed $200, just for the trauma of seeing them!

I keep seeing all these items apparently designed to look innovative and edgy but they just look stupid.

Good God!!!! Why would anyone wear something so fugly?

    What. The. F….
It seems that exposing your crotch is the in thing. Why oh why…

  5. Kate says:

I guess if you have a bad case of Swamp Crotch and need to let it air out? Yeah, I’ve got nothing.

  6. Diandra says:

I agree with Kelly. Why on the inside?
