Sock Horror! Bebaroque Fringe Thigh Highs

Fringe-thigh-highs

We know Bebaroque's fringed tights have been wildly popular across the fashion blogosphere. We know that. But if we were forced to wear these thigh-high versions which are flesh-coloured, to help create the impression that the "hair" is growing directly out of your legs, we think we'd have a hard time not reaching for the razor. You?

My legs will be very confused. They will think they are horses I’m afraid. To prevent myself from galloping all over the place, I definitely will not wear these.:-)

  2. Chloe says:

I think that these stockings are fabulous. They have been featured in some really amazing magazines such as I-D and Vogue, they are bang on trend, you just need to have that certain edge to wear them. Also, they are stockings not tight highs an should be worn with a suspender belt for that Dita Von Tease feel.

  3. ayemiy says:

Amber, BRILLIANT – I had wanted some legwear to help with animal fancy dress. I am going to be either a lion or a pony. This works!

  4. Amber says:

Chloe, you’re right, if they’ve been in Vogue and are “bang on trend” then they MUST be nice, and all other opinions must just be plain wrong! It’s important to allow fashion magazines to dictate our personal taste, after all!

  5. fashionista says:

These are vile. I don’t care where or who they’ve been seen on..they’re just a faux pas. ick.

  6. Arielle says:

    Those are seriously creepy.
I’ll leave them to the vogue fashion models.

  7. Alex says:

    Not a fan :/
I can’t say I’m buying into the whole fringe trend. Its just all a bit too rhinestone cowboy for me.

  8. Susan says:

    Oh, GROSS!
    Chloe, you gotta be kiddin’…

  9. Liz says:

It looks like her legs have sprouted armpit hair. Disgusting.
Chloe: MAYBE if the stockings were not flesh colored and MAYBE if the fringe was not nasty dirty brown it could be fun. Like a funky purple with colorful fringe. But the above example looks like a hair transplant gone wrong.
And there is no way Dita Von Tease would wear that.

  10. chocoholic says:

yip if you want you legs to look like a horse’s neck they are perfect.

  11. Alison says:

If you take a look at the ‘real’ picture you’ll see that the stockings look amazing, along with all the other bebaroque legwear. They are a little rhinestone cowboy, but if we all wore opaque M&S tights wouldn’t life be boring..

  12. Amber says:

Still don’t like them, Alison, sorry.
And you’re right, of course, that life would be boring if we all wore m&s opaques, but it would be equally boring if we all wore fringed Bebaroques, surely? We can’t all like the same things, and I for one think it would be pretty “boring” if we did!

  13. Whitney says:

I’m really glad you posted these, because I saw them at Urban Outfitters online and died a little on the inside.
These are ugly… it looks like she shaved and missed a spot. I’m sorry, but you just need to use your discretion sometimes. And it looks like absolutely none was used when designing these.

  14. kevie says:

Ooooh, faux-hawk leg wigs, just what my wardrobe was missing.

  15. Rock Hyrax says:

I think they need a Mousy Makeover!

  16. a woman says:

First word that popped into my mind: Horse.
It reminds me off a horse’s mane. And why, people, would ANYONE want to look like their legs had transformed into a horse’s mane?
Smiled at Amber’s first comment. I agree with you… even if these were Chanel, I doubt that I would even consider wearing them.
