Let’s play a game.

Everyone familiar with Polyvore? The site that can suck up hours of your life as you browse items and put together outfits? Good.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to use Polyvore to create an outfit based around the item shown above: in this case, a pair of wet-look leggings. We’ve deliberately chosen something a little bit difficult to style, because… well, because we’re mean and cruel, and because we’re hoping the outfits you come up with will provide inspiration to us all on how to wear some of those more “difficult” trends of the moment.

How to Play:

1. Log-in to Polyvore (you may need to create an account first, if you don’t already have one)

2. You’ll find the leggings here. Build your outfit around them (be as creative as you like), save it and then…

3. Post a link to your completed outfit in the comments on this post. We’ll publish them all next week sometime, and you can vote for your favourite.

4. If you don’t want to use Polyvore, feel free to post a link to another image, or email one to us. If you’re doing it that way, though, please make sure you also provide links to the items you’ve used, and send one single image of the finished outfit, rather than individual pictures of each item.

We’ve posted our (very quick) attempt under the jump to show you what we mean. We’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with, though!

    If you can’t beat them… join the madness!
    So I picked gold to stand out and make the leggings a bit less erhm… shocking?
    It’s not something anyone would wear but hey, those ARE wet look leggings, I did my best! xD

    It’s not worth my effort to make horrendous clothing try to look good. I’m too busy making all my other sets and stuff!

    I tried to go kind of minamalist and sleek. I treated the leggings as normal tights. Hope yall like!

    My first attempt ! I chose blue because I really enjoy this color. The dress makes the lines look more feminine AND it hides large hips etc…The jacket adds an urban touch. Some accessories, fancy shoes. I think Rihanna would definitely wear my set ! And don’t be hard with me, i’m just a guy ! :)
