  1. Actually the shape isn’t bad – quite elegant in fact and I’m sure the weave would look better in black.
I’d have them in black or multicolour.
He’s just doing another plainer version of those shoes for LV that are patch work in luxe bits and bobs that he threw together on his kitchen table.

  2. Well…here’s the thing, I’m kind of all about the mexican/caribbean thing right now and these fit right in to that aesthetic. Also, the colors are distinctly Marc, with the bright colors toned down with some subtle somberness. Still, I don’t care for that particular type of shoe… the strap and tassle is a bit much. Bottom line is, I don’t hate them.

  3. I really like the colours and shape, but the tassels and curvy heels are just too much. If they had plain woven straps and straight heels instead, I’d love them.

  4. Woven leather? Fine. Bright coloured sandals? Sure! Stiletto that looks like a table leg? Uhhh..
All together? Eek! The pain! make it stop!

  5. I like them. They remind my of some of the shoes created (in the US) during the war, when most materials were rationed and for example woven raffia in different colurs was used.

  6. Instant: Hideous!
Considered: The heels are shapely, in a nice way, and there’s a practical tie to keep the slingbacks from sliding down my heel, as they usually do.
Conclusion: I hate the primary color scheme, and the tassels are wretched; I would never wear them!
