Save or Splurge: Boyfriend blazers from River Island and ABS

Boyfriend-blazers

First things first: the "Love This" sticker on the blazer on the right of this picture comes from the River Island website, not from The Fashion Police

With that said, though, we really have to agree with them: we DO love it. And given the choice between it and the ABS blazer on the right, our money would go to River Island every time. The  "Splurge" jacket may have the more traditional menswear shape, but we think the cheaper version would be more flattering to the female figure, so it's the one we'd go for, even if money were no object.

What about you? Would you save or splurge?

Oh, most definitely save. Much more flattering on the female body, gotta agree with you there.
I don’t think anyone will believe me if I went around wearing the “save” version and said if was from my bf though – a little too feminine.

I’m too curvy to pull off a real boyfriend jacket, so I’d go for the river island one as well…I mean to me, it’s just an ordinary blazer, but still…Also the splurge is a bit too long. It wreaks of ‘designed for a tall thin model”-ness.

  3. Evelyn says:

    Save with pleasure! It’s adorable!

  4. Kelly says:

    Count me in: save!

  5. Kathleen says:

Save! It’s more flattering for women with curves and I like how it nips in at the waist.

  6. Theresa says:

    Save!

  7. Sarah says:

This one is easy: SAVE! I mean, I am all up for saving, but the save option also actually looks like it would flatter a woman’s body and still have a boyfriend-blazer edge to it.

  8. Roseanna says:

    SAVE!! it is realy cute!!!

  9. NaomiErin says:

Save! Its WAY more fitted and therefore cuter!
