Daylight Robbery: Miu Miu patent cutout basket bag

Miu-miu-basket-bag

The Fashion Police aren't big fans of basket bags in general. Call us crazy, but the idea of walking around with all of the old makeup, screwed up tissues, receipts and general rubbish that tends to fill our handbags on full view just doesn't appeal. That and they remind us of that time when we were eight years old and they were, like, really, really cool. Oh, and they also seem to scream, "Hey! Here's my stuff! Feel free to help yourself to it!"

We think those are enough reasons to convince us not to buy this Miu Miu basket bag, but just in case we needed another one, here it is: it's £484. Case closed.

haha, some of my friends had it when we were like 5 or 6 years old, and my mum wouldn’t buy me one because she said they were awful and looked cheap.. thanks God for my mum’s sense of style!

Ha! Did you know that old ladies carry these bags around to the market in my country? They’ll all the rage when it comes to carrying potatoes. Oh, and they cost around 1$. So if you want, I can send some to you at the low, low price of say….200$. Now that’s what I call a bargain :)
