Normally our love of Cesare Paciotti knows no bounds. But then we found one. A "bound", that is. Because when the Chief of Police first looked at these, she actually thought she was having a migraine, such is the "double vision" effect, and when a shoe quite literally makes you feel ill, that's not a good sign, is it?
We found these at WWD, who say they're by Paciotti, but we couldn't find them on the designer's website. Perhaps that's a good thing?
The only thing I can sey about these shoes is that if they were in a “Wear or Die” post, I would choose death.
The weird thing is, these shoes would have been unique and original enough without the double vision deal. zippers with a crochet overlay? Very strange. Throwing in the extra toe part is…too much. One or the other, please.
