Style on Trial: Geri Halliwell at the premiere of The Boat That Rocked

Geri Halliwell caused a bit of stir when she wore this little gold mini dress to the London premiere of The Boat That Rocked earlier this week.
The Sun, for instance, thought Geri looked just a little bit desperate in the outfit, saying: "That dress screams: “I AM BACK ON THE MARKET, CHAT ME UP. I’M NOT DESPERATE, HONEST.”
Other commentators, however, were a little kinder, saying she looked glowing and gorgeous and totally stole the show.
We have a bit of a soft spot for Geri, so we think she looks pretty good here, but what do you think, readers? Love it or loathe it?

I like how SHE looks but not so into the actual dress..
Geri is a stunningly beautiful woman and she looks it here. Her hair and make-up are perfection. But that dress…HONEY…there’s no support there. She’s all kinds of drooping and she just looks uncomfortable in it. She’s clearly got a great figure but this dress is doing her no favors.
I like the bottom of the dress, but the top is just terrible. It looks like she’s posing that way to keep the dress from falling down..
I don’t like it much. The color is great but the bodice is too revealing and it kinda makes her look thicker than she is.
I really like it. She still looks great!
Her boobs look really weird in it. The bodice generally looks very awkward.
She looks great, but I’m not a fan of the shape of that dress.
I totally loved her when she was a Spice girl (as much as I loved all of them) because they were childish, fun and completely over the top. When they became “normal” they lost everything in my eyes.
It’d be a great skirt. A really great skirt, but as a dress it’s a bit trashy. And it makes her boobs look a bit saggy. No one wants that, do they?
Nope. She looks uncomfortable, and I think the top is too revealing cause she is already showing her beautiful legs.
