Wear or Die: New York Fashion Week Edition

New york fashion week 09 Wear or Die: New York Fashion Week Edition

So far, The Fashion Police haven't exactly been run off our feet thanks to New York Fashion Week: in fact, the whole event has been surprisingly bereft of crimes of fashion. With many designers doing their best to appear respectful of the current economic situation, it's all been a little bit restrained, but the Wear or Die show must go on, and so we managed to dig up these outfits from VPL and Threeasfour to taunt you with.

Imagine, then, readers, that we're holding a gun to your head. We're telling you that if you don't choose one of these outfits to wear – and you must wear it exactly as it's shown in the picture – you must die.

Which outfit will you choose?

  1. Ok, fine. If I have to choose, I’ll take the Threeasfour mess. But I’m not going anywhere outside the bedroom until you say I can change clothes!

  2. I’m going for the VPL one. Mostly because I’m very confused and curious about that necklace, and the Threeasfour one really freaks me out.

  3. VPL – at least I could hang my head so my hair covers half my face – if I’m recognised all the same at least I won’t see them laughing. Also, the boots look comfier than the sandals…

  4. *also wants to pretend they never came across this one*
But for the sake of the exercise I’d wear the one on the left for the same reason as the post above.

  5. I think I’d go with VPL and tell people that I was in a tragic yard equipment accident while trying on a new outfit, and just had to be somewhere on time…
Maybe they would pity me and offer to buy me something not…awful.
