Today, readers, The Fashion Police are pleased to announce that we’ve finally been able to close the file on a case which has puzzled us for months: namely, the question of who on earth would wear Martin Margiela’s split toe boots? (Or, indeed, any split toe boots, because we don’t care what you say, that still doesn’t look comfortable to us…)
After a delicate – and sometimes dangerous – operation, however, we can now reveal that the person who would wear the boots is none other than… Sarah Jessica Parker! Yes, we’ve had SJP under surveillance for a while now, and at last our suspicions have been confirmed. You can see one of our detectives on her trail above, moments before the boots were taken into custody.
Ah, another case closed!

argh! Devil shoes, in the most literal sense! I like her jeans though.
Ahhh! Not the cloven hoof again! Gawd-awful!!!
OMG! I though she was in Fashion Rehab for the past few months, but it seems she escaped, only to wear the goat hooves!
Though this might not assuage anyone’s hurt fashion feelings, this is actually a Tabi style from the Japanese. It’s meant primarily for comfort, not to look like goat (not that it doesn’t). At least they don’t have fur attached..
The thing is, tabi don’t look like weird hooves or camel toes – not apparently split down the middle like SJP’s. If she was wearing these

(which are the most unusual example I came across) I doubt they’d have been arrested…
case closed, yes… but the motive is still unclear…
OMG! high heel boots for trying flipflops?
maybe,but still a fashion crime.
I would prefer to see a camel toe on the foot than anywhere else, but ICK!
