We featured one of Christopher Kane's scalloped dresses as a Wear or Die option back in September, when these dresses were still just being paraded down the catwalk. Some of you said you liked the style, though, and as it's now gone into production (and is being sold at NET-A-PORTER for £3,855), we thought it might be time to re-visit it, and ask ourselves whether it's really a crime of fashion, or whether it's actually quite fantastic, in a crazy/cool kinda way.
Of course, when we say "ask ourselves", what we mean by that is "ask you, our readers". So what do you say? Is this something you think you might buy/wear (assuming the price wasn't quite so extortionate, obviously), or has Mr Kane pushed the envelope a little too far here?
Tell us!

Actually, I’d even rather wear the Topshop lace bra vest top than this:D
kidding, but for that price I mean are you joking as well?! that’s insane and it doesn’t even look that nice…
It looks pretty, in an arty sort of way. That said, it isn’t very wearable and I imagine many people would give you strange looks if you went out in it on a Saturday night.
But I guess I don’t have to make the choice, as it is well out of my price range anyway!
It’s pretty enough, and a lot of work went into it,so i guess the price is kinda justified. I wouldn’t wear it though, because you would have to be stick thin to pull it off
It’s cool…? Hard to say if I like it without seeing it on a body. If it’s channeling the Tina Turner mini-dress, I think I’d wear it but if you ended up looking like a big cotton ball…well…
I think it`s pretty, I like the colour.
the details should add a lot of volume, so it should better hang of some skinny woman. i ‘d love to see mk in it !!
this dress would be great if only the scallopes were on a smaller scale(pun)
I like it. Really like it actually. But only because in my head it kinda sways about and looks really pretty. But in real life it looks like it might be really rigid, so them i wouldn’t like it at all.
As it’s stupid money, I’ll never get to find out.
It’s a beautiful work of modern art that’s probably be better off on display rather than worn. That said, if I could pull it off I would totally wear it. And I don’t think stick thin people should have all the fun. After all, you never know if it’ll look good on you until you actually try it on!
Looks like a dress made out of Neco Wafers. Which if true would make it a great party dress. “Help yourself to a wafer!” That’s one way to adjust the hemline.
It reminds me of those round Communion wafers that have the taste and texture of styrofoam.
