Balmain’s studded crystal sandals: the shoes of the season?

Balmain studded crystal san Balmains studded crystal sandals: the shoes of the season?

These shoes have seen more than their fair share of the red carpet lately. Their most recent outing was to the 'He's Just Not That Into You' premiere this week, on the feet of Jennifer Connelly, but they've also been seen on Gemma Arterton, and a bunch of other celebrities, too.

The shoes in question are by Balmain, and cost 1,475 euros (Get them here), but what do you think of them? Are they the perfect way to counterbalance a girlie dress, or are they just too OTT for words?

  1. I like the idea and I’ve liked the idea for a couple years now. It’s getting old and they don’t feel at all fresh anymore. Time for something new…taxidermy seems to be the new trend. ;-)

  2. I like ‘em. I dunno if I’d wear them, I’m not a huge fan of open shoes (being that I live in Canada and they’re pretty much never practical), but I like the kind of punk rock look.

  3. Holyyyyyyyyy…
I love this look. A lot. It’s sexy, it’s fun, it’ll look totally fab with jeans or a simple black dress… I love the rock and roll look. FABULOUS.

  4. Hi, I’m selling my Balmain sandals by Zara. The reason? I thought I could survive the heel but I can’t, and before they die in my closet, I hope another Balmain addict girl want them!!
Anyway, get a look at them. They are brand new, with the plastic cover at the sole, the price tag, everything. I ship worldwide.
    Good look!!
