Style on Trial: Yves Saint Laurent cage boots

ysl cage boots Style on Trial: Yves Saint Laurent cage bootsThese boots probably won’t be new to most of you. We saw them on the catwalk a few short months ago, and now here they are, ready to buy for the not-exactly-bargain price of 1,100 euros. What would your feet have to do to make you want to throw them into a cage, though, we wonder? What could possibly be so bad that you’d want to see them behind bars?

  1. I can so imagine my toes getting stuck in the cage holes. Ow. Also, the heel doesn’t look very stable. I’d be scared it would crush as I was walking.

  2. Very funky for a summer evening …’course, your friends would have to buy your drinks because you’d have NOTHING in your wallet. Sheesh!

  3. They’re quite interesting. But I think I’d have to go with Gokarm on this one – the heel would add a very unique twist to an otherwise ‘normal’ looking shoe, but this is a bit much.
