Wear or Die has been on hiatus for a few weeks, but after yesterday’s Porthole Sweater, we couldn’t resist investigating the phenomenon of "clothes with holes" a little further, and after taking these two outfits into custody, well, it was only natural that we’d think to ourselves, "Hey! What if our readers had to wear one of these – or die?"
And so it is that we present you with an difficult choice – choose one of these outfits to wear, or choose death. (But please don’t choose death, because that’s just no fun now, is it?). On the left, a holey dress (no, you can’t wear something underneath it, sorry), and on the right, a pair of holey leggings and a holey top. (And no, you can’t wear anything over them either…).
Both items comes from Cyberdog – but which one would you choose to wear, assuming you HAD to wear one or die?

They are SO bad, ugggh! But I guess it’d be outfit B (okay, so it’s in a toxic color and looks really hideous but at least I can pretend it’s all a joke out fit and I’m making fun of smth rather than the more serious dress dissastor.. and maybe I could arrange the wig accesory to hide my face:D)

Outfit B, it may be hideous but the placement of the holes means I wouldn’t have to show my belly button. Then I’d pretend to everyone it was some sort of new high vis sporting outfit (actually I’d only be able to tell strangers this because people who *know* me would know that’d be a lie – me + sports = never…) So yes, the florescent one. *I can’t believe I just chose to wear a florescent outfit… OH MY GOD*
Outfit A, clearly. Outfit B’s shoe/boots have their own florescent toenails attached! That’s worse than the portholes!
Has anyone noticed that outfit A shows off her crotch? I can see her panties
God, cyber clothes are just plain awful, but i guess i’d wear outfit B…could it be during carnival?
If we’re not allowed to wear _anything_ under outfit A, then clearly B, as A would only be appropriate in an “adult” environment or in private.
Unfortunately the hideous outfit B because A is erm….indecent :/

… I guess I’m going to choose… oh god. I don’t know. I can’t stand neons. I’d wear A and some fancy knickers. Might as well show off.
I’m all for outfit A instead of B. And I agree with the fancy knickers comment. Might as well show it off.
I would have to set up an elaborate party where the theme was futuristic secretary or something to feel totally pleased with my decision though.
Well personally I’d wear outfit B, I couldn’t wear Outfit A as most of Cyberdog’s long dresses are far too long for me at only 5ftish, but then again I quite like Cyberdog and used to wear their stuff a lot…
The thing is, Cyberdog target a specific market, clubbers and cybergoth and the like…They’re not a high fashion brand so…

I’d wear outfit B to a rave. Because if you have to wear something crazy you should go all out. Not almost frumpy but with giant holes

Erm… B.I kinda almost a little bit like it. I like neon. What can I say? the other 1 is like an old lady dress that got eaten by a giant moth. Eeeeeeww…
Outfit A definitely!!
I think I prefer the holes in my outfits to be at the sides. Less frightening. For everyone else.
Whilst option A displays a far more tolerable fabric and print, it also displays FRONT holes, and with front holes, you might just show your front hole, to the whole world. which is an “afFront” to humanity.
So, i choose skin tight neon side hole spandex two piece with..giant rubber clogs?
Can I wear them both? I know you said nothing under one and nothing over the other, but you’re giving us both so it’s like you approve…
Outfit B. Even with fancy panties, option A just looks unflattering, mostly because I hate dresses that length on me. Plus, I think I would just have tons of fun wearing B, mostly because I would get stares, but not from disgusting guys checking out the hole near my crotch.
I’ve seen that girl in outfit B before, she was on that trashily (yes, i know it’s not a word) addictive ‘Snog, Marry or Avoid’ show! Weirdly, they liked her style! Saying that, i’m still going to have to go with B…
It would have to be outfit b,the holes are in a much more flattering place(:.
I’d wear A, and scrunch it within an inch of its life. Better to have a squishy looking middle than everyone seeing your lady bidness.
Outfit B it is. I’ll pretend I’m a very blind crossdresser. Or I could jump around and shoot lasers from my fingers at strangers.
I love option a… option b does look better in black.. I actually own a few cyberdog items… their for raving not everyday highstreet wear.. Nether of these options are unbearable…. Supose they wouldn’t look good on anyone over 30……
I think I’de wear them both, although these two choices are just plain dumb.

Cyberdog has beautiful clothes and so do other cyberscene brands.
These two outfits were never to my liking aswell, but please don’t be so
narrowminded. I noticed someone said that cyberclothes are just plain awfull.
That’s not true, YOU THINK they’re awfull, doesn’t make them so.
Leave people in their scene as we will lieave you in yours.
If we have to comment on everything mainstreams wears, we’ll be going on for years.
So please handle every subculture with respect.
And again, these are not very good samples.
And just because YOU think they’re awesome doesn’t make them so either. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion, not just you. You’re asking me to show “respect” for your taste, while at the same time showing complete disprespect for everyone else who doesn’t agree with you. And you know, they’re just clothes. Not everyone HAS to like the same thing. Why get upset just because some complete strangers on the internet over a year ago didn’t like a couple of outfits? Have you never seen an outfit you didn’t like?
