On the plus side, at least Natasha Pavlovich is wearing underwear here. On the minus side, the fact that we can see that underwear so very clearly makes this dress seem… not very classy. It also makes it seem like one of those nightmares we sometimes have when we're out at some fancy event and then we look down and realise that, whoops, we're not actually wearing anything! And then we want to die.
Natasha, on the other hand, seems perfectly comfortable to be photographed in her smalls, although we notice she has been a little bit sensible and brought along a jacket to cover up with later. Too late, Natasha! The Fashion police have already seen you!
Bags have been getting brighter this season, perhaps in reaction to the dull winter weather, and when the colours are as lovely as this teal-coloured tote by Vanessa Bruno, it makes them hard for the Fashion Police to resist. Well, it would if they didn’t all tend to cost more than a month’s rent, that is.
The bright colour of this bag is offset by the simple shape, and it’s looks fairly roomy too, which is essential in a day bag, we find. It’s £450 at NET-A-PORTER .
It's with great sadness that The Fashion Police report the return of the dangerous and dastardly criminal known only as "The Foot Snatcher". Having previously snatched the feet of celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes and others, the Foot Snatcher was believed to have gone into hiding following a high-profile Fashion Police investigation. However, this week he (or she) struck again, this time targeting Shopbop models, who were left without feet following the terrible attacks.
"Those poor girls," commented one witness, who declined to be named. "As if it wasn't bad enough that they were forced to wear huge, baggy pants with perplexing crosses on the butts, to have had their feet snatched was just the final insult."
The pants in question – believed to be VPL's "Swag" Pants - are now in custody, where they are "helping" The Fashion Police with their enquiries. Everyone with feet, however, is urged to be on their guard and take all reasonable precautions against THE FOOT SNATCHER.
Now, we love the colour of this dress, which Rihanna wore to the RIAA Inaugural Ball last night, but we can't help but wonder what her boobs did to make her feel she had to strap them down like this? It just dosn't look comfortable, does it?
Rihanna, we'll worry about keeping the fashion criminals under control. You worry about choosing the right cup size. Deal?
Yes, it’s another green dress. Well, we did warn you we’d be seeing a lot of this colour in the coming months…
This one is by Lanvin, and we like the knot detail at the bust, while the narrow black belt helps to define the waist nicely. Is it worth £1,405? Er, no. But then, not many dresses are, as far as we’re concerned. If you disagree, you can buy it at Browns.
These appeared as part of the Alexander McQueen Spring 2009 collection, which means that if they went into production they should be appearing in stores around about now.
The Fashion Police are monitoring the situation, obviously, but for now all we can really do is hope and pray that Mr McQueen decided NOT to try to actually sell these, because they freak us out more than any shoe has a right to. Will you join us in our prayers?
