Jeggings are the devil in pant form! if you want jeans just wear jeans, leggings go under things like tunics not for pairing with a singlet top. Jeggings are not flattering, anything that can make a models butt look fat…well just imagine what its doing to a normal person’s.

I CANT WAIT to see the plus size stores start to carry these, it will be as awful as when they started making plus size shiny spandex items. lol! If you’re over a size 8, please don’t but these!! (This is coming from someone who is a size 14, just becuase something comes in your size, does NOT mean you should wear it!!)

Love jeggings, think the name is cute…Its not a surprise that not every person can wear every fashion well. We all have different bodies. BUT these are adorable on the right person!

I also used to think denim leggings were awful, and in honesty, the picture posted on this page IS awful. But they seem to have a new incarnation as being far more like jeans – deceptively so. I recently admired a friend’s skinnies, which I really liked, and I was shocked SHOCKED when I found out they were denim leggings. The “new” style seem to have thicker fabric, zippers!, pockets, and have a more lean-like and less legging-like fit. I bought a pair and I LOVE them. They look just like jeans. As long as you don’t buy them so tight that they are like a second skin, they would probably look pretty great on anyone that normally wears skinny jeans. (BTW – noone says “skeans”).

But I REFUSE to call them jeggings. Denim leggings is fine, and if I want fewer and shorter syllables, I’ll call them “stretch denim”. (strenim, anybody?)

I think most people hate jeggings because a lot of people wear them as real pants and not like leggings. There’re more natural, non shiny, jeggings elsewhere and they look great with long tanks and tunics. They’re also extremely comfortable and really shows off your legs

i think that ‘jeggings’ are good idea but that they’re not very good in reality.
because they’re really NOT very flattering at all. sure they look good on the annorexic models that stores use to advertise their clothing. but they generally don’t look as good on real people!
i’m proud to say that even though all my mates are wearing them, i most definately will not! i could never betray my skinnies

Well, i think they are a good idea. The “Jeggings” Is a good name. It refers to Jeans, in Leggings. So when some one is talking about the “Jean leggings” Then the other will go, “Oh, You mean the Jeggings?”
They are better fitting, and is a good idea. You can actually MOVE around in them, And they will fit you for longer, as they Stretch.
I’m just making an opinion. I’d have to strongly disagree with you.
The look is something new and fresh, and a good idea for cheapies.

Omg! These jeggings are AWFUL! How ugly can you get?

Firstly, they DO NOT compliment the ‘behind area’. Sure they might be a great fit and comfy but they do not flatter!

Secondly, the name is really off-putting.
And third, the styles I’ve seen is stores are actually quite shiny and eeww!
If want a comfy pair of leggings – get them in black. Please… I beg of you!

I’m going to stick with my skinnies!
