We’ve featured enough swimsuits like this one for our feelings on this particular style to be well-known by now: in fact, we arrested this very item back in October 08, and it’s still languishing in the Fashion Police cells hoping to get our early for good behaviour.
It’ll clearly be waiting a long time, though, because this appearance at Shopbop does not constitute “good behaviour”, now does it? In fact, it would appear that while it was incarcerated, the swimsuit somehow managed to team up with another inmate – a pair of gladiator sandals – and together they made this poor Shopbop model look like she’s about to burst into tears.
For this, we’re sending the swimsuit to solitary. Let this be a lesson to the rest of the Fashion Jail inmates. And rest assured that no models were harmed in the making of this photo. We hope.

What I REALLY love about this swimsuit is that a non-model (reality-sized woman) would probably have flesh rolls bulging out of the cut-outs.
