To be completely fair, £125 for a piece of designer jewellery isn’t THAT bad, really.
When the piece of so-called “designer jewellery” bears a close resemblance from the kind of art project you used to bring home from pre-school and force your poor mother to wear, however, we think you’ll agree that £125 seems a little bit like daylight robbery. Especially when the piece in question looks as plasticy as this one. In fact, we’re pretty sure we’ve seen those “jewels” in the craft store. And trust us when we say, they weren’t being sold as “designer jewellery.”
This is another fantastic find by Super-Sleuth Mousy, and is available from NET-A-PORTER .

my god. That is horrible. And you could so make one easy peasy, in fact etsy probably has someone doing just that….
It’s just a little better than awful, but only a little.
I think I have it’s twin in my drawer somewhere…my son made it for me in Kindergarten.
I have those self-proclaimed jewels sitting on a shoe box along with tons of beads!
I could be making designer necklaces right now!

I love Malene Birger, and most Birger et Mikkelsen stuff but mostly for their faboulous ethnic folklore stuff. This necklace was ugly.
Dear lord, what is this world coming to??
Actually, i think i have this sort of thing. Yeah, you know, I still kept it from Kindergarden. I should sell it for a 100 dollars. You know, as a discount.
