You paid HOW much?! Caroline Herrera bow sweater
Now, we love this sweater. Seriously, how could we not? As regular readers know, we’re like magpies, only with bows rather than sparkly things (OK, with bows as well as sparkly things), and this? Is gorgeous. Just gorgeous. So, the second we laid eyes on it, we began to imagine all the things we’d wear it with, and to think dreamily about how our lives would be transformed by ownership of the Caroline Hererra bow sweater.
And then we looked at the price.
$1,190. One. Thousand. One Hundred. And Ninety. Dollars.
We may have had to call for our smelling salts.
If you think this price is justified, you can hand over the readies to Bergdorf Goodman. We, meanwhile, will be making do with a plain black sweater and a long silk scarf tied in a bow at the neck. Same basic effect, mere fraction of the cost. Perfect.
Blimey, that’s a pretty sweater. But…. Fashion Police, you could buy a care for that! Or a million regular sweaters! Oasis were doing a very similar cashmere one for £80 a little while ago.
But now you have me thinking about high street black sweaters and printed Pucci scarves…

That’s a very pretty sweater and I like it, but I don’t believe I have ever had that amount of money all together at one time and even if I did I think I’d have the buyer’s remorse if I purchased this little number. This is a dream far, far away, too far for the likes of me.
First thing that popped in my head was ‘Highway Robbery’…
You know, I have to knock this off now purely because of the absolute ludicrousness of the original’s price.
Oh and that I have a thing about kitten bows.
I’d almost rather buy the pieces separately – then you could wear the black shirt with any scarf/bow you wanted. That gives one a lot more options, and you could always splurge on the shirt and go cashmere or something…
I love this! It’s so pretty and cute. But the price… not loving it as much.
