Wanted! Helene Berman Bow Beret
As far as The Fashion Police are concerned, people don’t wear hats often enough. Or they do, but they tend to be baseball hats, or woolly, tea-cosy style knitted creations, and where’s the fun – or glamour – in that?
There’s plenty of both fun and glamour in this bow beret by Helene Berman. We think "cute" is the only word for this hat, and even although August’s Cosmopolitan cautioned its readers to never wear berets, ever, we’d have to respectfully disagree, and say that you can wear this one without any fear of Fashion Police arrest. My thoughts exactly, Mousy! I love them, but Cosmo had them on their barometer thingy saying no one should ever wear them – weird!
Wow, they would hate me, I live in my black beret (my excuse is that I am cold all winter AND an artist.
) I LOVE this idea and have a fleece beret to which I could easily add a big bow, which is cool since I look ridiculously like a young child when I try to wear the adorable hair bows out there.
I don’t usually wear hats because I don’t think they suit me – but this might tempt me. I love it!
I’ve never considered wearing a beret (they’d probably make me look like a fat female Frank Spencer) but like Steph, I’m tempted…
Hats and I don’t get along… But I think, for this one, I will try to play nice.
