Coat Corner: Leifsdottir Textured Ruffle Coat
The Fashion Police are all for outerwear that stands out from the crowd and we think this ruffled coat by Leifsdottir certainly qualifies on that count. The duck egg blue colour and textured fabric would’ve been enough on their own to attract our attention, but the ruffles to the front and back sealed the deal, adding an interesting little touch to an already pretty little coat.
Like it? It’s $498 at Nordstrom.
Horrid horrid horrid. Looks like something my Sindy had in 1971
It’s got wings! I don’t know exactly how I feel about that.
I love it, but that sure isn’t a color everyone could wear, is it.
Simply LOVE the texture, wouldn’t suit the colour, am undecided about the ruffles!
I think you meant ROBIN’S EGG BLUE. Duck eggs are white. Couldn’t resist the correction, sorry!
I love this coat! I don’t think I could pull off the colour, but it compliments the model very well.
Wendy – sorry to spoil your triumph, but “duck egg blue” is the name of a colour:

This coat isn’t quite “duck egg”, so I stand corrected on that, but no, I didn’t mean “ROBIN’S EGG BLUE”.
Love love love love love it. Wish I wasn’t so poor. And British.
So very cute.
