Real life Fashion Police: 'designer' uniforms for Swedish prisoners

The women in this photo are not under arrest for Crimes Against Fashion. There's no need, you see: they're already in jail. Not our jail, mind you: these are inmates of various jails around Sweden, and they're wearing uniforms specially designed for them by students from Beckmans College of Design, who were commissioned by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to create clothes for their female inmates.
This is really what we should do for our own prisoners, rather than just making them wear the various items of clothing we arrest along with them, isn't it?

They look like helpful, professional nurses! Now, to do something about those shoes...

Can you see shoes? Don't know if its just my computers resolution, but I was a little perturbed, at the footless women! Is that what they were arrested for?!!
that said, I like the uniforms. They're simple, and practical, and inoffensive.

Oh for godsake! Why are they ALL dresses and skirts? Did the fashion students not learn how to make pants yet? If I were in prison, I'd want to wear pants FOR SURE! If you can't take a break from shaving your legs IN JAIL, when else can you??
Also, I love how there's one woman who is clearly super excited about her outfit while the rest look like they want to kill someone.
